Our Process for New Patients

Greetings to all new patients. Your application can now be processed by our medical staff.

Insurance Documentation

We are currently in-network/accepting the following insurances: 

  • Blue Cross/Blue Shiel

  • Aetna

  • United Healthcare

  • Cigna

  • Medicare

 

Self-Paying Patients

No insurance? No problem. Please call our office to discuss current fees days before your “Virtual Call”. You must make your self-pay payment at time of booking your appointment online  Fostering Light Behavioral Health’s must maintain a current credit card on file in order for us to handle these charges when they come up.

New Patients Scheduling

All appointment bookings must pay with credit card for first appointment.  You also have options days before your virtual call, you can call us to setup your insurance billing payments.  Patients with “No Insurance” receive Self pay discount for services.  All patients us maintain a current credit card on file in order for us to handle these charges when they come up.

When your insurance carrier processes a claim, deductible amounts are charged to your portal account. After receiving written or verbal notice, you have ten days to settle any outstanding copay, self-pay, or deductible obligations. A $25 late fee will be applied to any outstanding amounts, and an additional $25 will be levied every 30 days.

Emergency Services

Since Fostering Light does not offer crisis services, we advise you to seek assistance at the closest emergency room or by calling 911 and/or the crisis line in the event of a medical or mental health emergency.

While we do not provide crisis services, we encourage you to reach out for help during a medical or mental health emergency by calling 911 and/or crisis line or go to the nearest emergency room.
